About Jerry Durant

Born in Granbury, Texas in 1947, Jerry Durant grew up working with automobiles. He got his start in a salvage yard, then worked at a Chevrolet dealership, and finally started Jerry's Chevrolet when he moved to Weatherford in 1970. For the last 44 years, Jerry Durant has been the proud owner and operator of Jerry's in Weatherford.

Jerry Durant is very active with the Weatherford community, becoming a leader in the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce, the Parker County Sheriff's Posse, the Library Board, the Weatherford City Government, the Parker County Livestock Improvement Association, among others.

Since 1967, Jerry Durant has been married to his wife, Vickie Durant. Together, they have two children, Brian and Diane. They are also proud grandparents to Brian's daughter, Kindel and Diane's daughter, Andie.
