The new 2025 Chevy Trax was built to help drivers travel confidently and safely. It does this with its Chevy Safety Assist package, a suite of six advanced features designed to prevent accidents and encourage safe driving. From Front Pedestrian Braking to its Following Distance Indicator, the new Chevy promotes safe travel near Burleson.

Automatic Emergency Braking: Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) is designed to reduce the likelihood and effects of collisions at speeds between 5 and 50 mph. The feature employs a hard brake or enhanced hard brake when it senses a potential collision.

Front Pedestrian Braking: Front Pedestrian Braking utilizes sensor technology to detect bicycles and pedestrians at speeds between 5 and 50 mph. The feature reduces the chance or effects of collisions by providing a hard or enhanced brake when a nearby pedestrian is detected.

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: Using a forward-facing camera, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning delivers a brief steering wheel turn when it senses a driver unintentionally drifting lanes. The feature is enabled at approximate speeds above 37 mph (31 mph in some vehicles). It will not trigger when it senses a driver intentionally switching lanes or using a turning signal.

Forward Collision Alert: Forward Collision Alert detects potential collisions using a front-facing camera and radar technology. When approaching a vehicle too closely, the feature alerts drivers with six red dots on its windshield and high-pitched beeps.

IntelliBeam: When enabled, IntelliBeam automatically turns the vehicles' high beams on or off based on traffic conditions. The feature uses a sensor to detect headlights, enabling them when it detects no oncoming traffic.

Following Distance Indicator: The Following Distance Indicator displays the driver's following speed in seconds between their vehicle and the one in front of them. This feature helps to keep drivers safe by maintaining a safe following distance.
